Hi. I’m Matt Kane, the founder of Vela Labs. I’ve been making tools for high speed photographers for years, but couldn’t find a safe, affordable high-speed flash, so I decided to make one myself. I soon realised we needed a fast and robust flash trigger, so I made one of those too. 

I've worked with a crack team of industrial designers and electronic engineers to develop the Vela products, and worked with top photographers to test them. I'm excited to see what you can do with them.
